Do I need a PayPal account to pay?

No — you do not need a PayPal account. Simply click "Pay with PayPal" at checkout and on the next screen choose "Pay by Debit or Credit Card". You can pay securely with your Visa or Mastercard without creating any account.

The checkout shows prices in GBP — is that correct?

Yes — our store processes payments in British Pounds (GBP). If you are in South Africa, your bank will automatically convert the amount to Rands at the current exchange rate. There are no extra fees from us — your bank handles the conversion seamlessly.

Is it safe to pay on HausNova?

Yes. All payments are processed securely through PayPal's encrypted payment system. Your card details are never stored on our site.

Delivery & Shipping

How long does delivery take to South Africa?

Delivery to South Africa typically takes 7–14 business days. A flat delivery fee of R99 applies to all SA orders.

How long does delivery take to the UK?

Delivery to the United Kingdom typically takes 3–5 business days with free shipping on all UK orders.

Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes — once your order is dispatched you will receive an email with your tracking details so you can follow your delivery.

Installation & Product

Do I need an electrician to install the lights?

No — all HausNova solar lights are completely wire-free. Each light mounts with just 2 screws and requires no electrical work whatsoever. If you can use a screwdriver, you can install these yourself in minutes.

Do the lights work during load shedding?

Yes — 100%. Our solar security lights are completely independent of the electricity grid. They charge during the day using sunlight and operate automatically at night, regardless of load shedding stage.

How do the motion sensor lights work?

The lights use a passive infrared (PIR) sensor to detect movement. When motion is detected at night, the light activates instantly and switches off automatically after a short period of inactivity. During the day, the built-in light sensor keeps the light off while the solar panel charges the battery.

Are the lights weatherproof?

Yes — all our lights are designed for outdoor use and are weatherproof, built to handle rain, heat, and wind in both South African and UK conditions.

Returns & Refunds

What if my light arrives damaged or doesn't work?

We stand behind every product we sell. If your item arrives damaged or faulty, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or full refund. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.
